June 28, Thursday, 7pm, “Dave Rowe,” Maine native, Dave Rowe, grew up with folk music flowing through his veins. The son of a member of the popular folk trio, Schooner Fare, there was always a sort of expectation that Dave would “join the family business,” which he did at the tender age of 15. With fifteen critically-acclaimed recordings and a music career that has endured some 27 years, Dave is one of Maine’s most sought-after folk artists. June 29, Friday, 8pm, “Comedian Juston McKinney,” with multiple performances on The Tonight Show, his own Comedy Central specials and consistently selling out theaters, he’s at the top of his game. But before all that, Juston grew up living on the border of New Hampshire and Maine. He was hired a s deputy Sheriff patrolling the same border in which he grew up. But in 1997 Juston turned in his gun and badge and moved to New York.
