Lovingly Cared for Four-Season Home on Sparkling Clary Lake

Gorgeous 180-degree views from this four-season cottage on Clary Lake

This lovingly cared for idyllic four-season cottage on sparkling Clary Lake offers an inviting skylit sunroom with a 180 view of the lake, expansive deck and your own dock and float. Pristine inside and out, the home features Bali blinds, granite counters, a Harmon pellet stove and stunning hearth/fireplace. Enjoy watching several pairs of Bald Eagles and Osprey, many types of ducks and even a pair of Swans as glide over the water. Your family will enjoy summer days swimming, boating and fishing.

Clary Lake is 674 acres and 3-miles long with a 10.9-mile perimeter. The lake is not overly crowded, and its principal fisheries are smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, white perch and chain pickerel. The lake is centrally located 15 minutes from Augusta and Damariscotta. In Augusta, you’ll find all the amenities you need, including big box stores, grocery stores, banks, movie theaters, and airport and museums. The more intimate town of Damariscotta offers small cafes and restaurants, galleries and lots of antiques.

An added bonus is the fact that the home is not far away from the Maine coast. You can enjoy day excursions to visit the many beaches, lighthouses, and small coastal towns. There you can take boat tours and enjoy the many galleries, charming shops, antiques and restaurants the Maine coast has to offer.

The current owners have enjoyed the gorgeous views out of every window. Their favorite local spots include Slates Restaurant in Hallowell which features a menu of items made from scratch, and the many live music venues and cultural offerings in the town. They hate having to sell the cottage, but they are looking forward to moving closer to their grandchildren.
