Feb. 21, Thursday, 7pm, “The Greatest Pirate Story (N)ever Told!,” Flung into the future by a musical-loving Sea Witch, a crew of misfit pirates-turned-actors must now perform the greatest pirate epic ever seen on stage in “The Greatest Pirate Story (N)ever Told!” When the pirates’ script is partially obscured by a tragic squid ink accident, the crew must turn to the audience to fill in the missing bits of the plot. Feb. 22-24, Friday-Sunday, 7:30pm/Fri. and Sat, 2pm/Sat. and Sun, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” takes the audience on an adventure alongside the play’s unlikely hero, fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone. When Christopher falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor’s dog, he uses his love of Sherlock Holmes and his own astute deductive abilities to solve the mystery in this journey of discovery. Feb. 23, Saturday, 11-12pm, “Owl Visit and Walk: A Two Part series about Native Owls,” you’ll get to be up close to three owls native to Maine: great horned owl, a barred owl and a saw-whet owl. Glinka’s sparkling Ruslan and Lyudmila Overture kicks things off before up and coming cellist Nicholas Canellakis takes the stage for Schumann’s beloved Cello Concerto in A minor. Ever wanted to see local entertainment television be produced first hand? Ever just want to get out of the house and leave the chores for another night? NOW YOU CAN! “The Nite Show with Danny Cashman” is filmed before a live studio audience at The Gracie Theatre at Husson University in beautiful Bangor, Maine.
