Feb. 14, Thursday, 5:30-7:30pm, “L.L. Bean-Valentines Snowshoe Dance,” bring your family and friends to shake their snowshoes at our Valentines Snowshoe Dance. MSR is bringing some of the latest snowshoes, but please bring your own if you have them. We will be cranking some prime dance tunes. Too shy to dance? Feb. 16, Saturday, 7:30pm, “The Last Waltz performed by Bob Colwell & Friends,” the iconic group The Band was one of the most influential music groups of the 20th century, and as such their final concert was filmed by legendary director Martin Scorcese. That movie, The Last Waltz, went on to become a classic and influenced the lives of a group of young Maine musicians. Tonight those musicians hailing from the Colwell Brothers, the Fogcutters, the Boneheads and other esteemed Maine bands come to the Opera House stage, as the characters of The Last Waltz.
