Aug. 31, Friday, 8pm, “Szlachetka,” the sophomore album from Rolling Stone “Artist to Watch,” SZLACHETKA (pronounced SLA-HET-KA) was released February 16, 2018. With its mix of modern Americana, 70s California rock, and singer/songwriter sentiments, Heart of My Hometown is a classic record for the contemporary world. Sept. 2, Sunday, 8pm, “Donna the Buffalo,” Jeb Puryear (vocals, electric guitar) and Tara Nevins (vocals, fiddle, guitar, accordion, scrubboard) joined by David McCracken (B3 Hammond organ, Hohner Clavinet & piano), Kyle Spark (bass) and Mark Raudabaugh (drums). “It’s been really fun with this lineup,” Puryear says. “You get to the point where you’re playing on a really high level, things are clicking and it’s like turning on the key to a really good car.
