Dec. 8, Tuesday, 7pm, ‘Russian Concert and Art Exhibit: St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble,” a highly polished a capella quartet who will be presenting a varied program ranging from traditional Russian music to popular Christmas songs. Highly trained and educated vocalists Kirill Sokolov, Sergey Shapinsky, Andrei Volikov, and Vadim Smantser formed the group in 2003 to expand the known limits of vocal music. With just four performers, they present complex works generally performed by much larger groups.
