Aug. 6-9, Thursday-Sunday, 7pm, “Dracula,” Ten Bucks Theatre will stage “Dracula,” adapted by Steven Dietz from Bram Stoker’s classic novel at Fort Knox. Benjamin Layman is directing the production. Aug. 7, Friday, 6:30-7:30pm, “Sohns Gallery Presents Eric Darling,” painter Eric Darling, who is a self-taught artist native to New England. He went west to earn a BA in Anthropology at San Diego State University. Interests such as archaeology, travel and teaching in Asia, as well as an overall appreciation for the natural world are all evident in Darling’s work. His works will be the gallery through September and we will host a reception for him on Friday August 7th, free, The Sohns Gallery at The Rock & Art Shop, 36 Central Street, Bangor. The “Three Kings Tour” will be an action-packed, brand new live show this summer during the GRAMMY (R)-nominated guitarist and singer-songwriter’s first-ever U.S. amphitheater tour.??The show which will be coming to the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, ME on August 12, 2015 as part of the Machias Savings Bank Concert Series will feature amazing Blues covers from the three Kings performed by Bonamassa that will be unlike anything he has played before.??This tour continues the celebration of American Blues heritage that began with the 2014 production of Joe Bonamassa – Muddy Wolf at Red Rocks presented by Keeping The Blues Alive.
