May 16, Saturday, 8-10am, “Alewife Walk and Talk,” join Don Reimer, local naturalist, in a walk from Payson Park in Warren along the Georges River to learn why alewives are important to the ecology of freshwater, estuarine, and marine environments. This walk follows a wooded trail that leads along the old canal channel and up to the head of tide. Wear sturdy shoes and bring binoculars and cameras.
