March 20, Thursday, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., “Celebrate Spring in the Wildlands,” celebrate the first day of spring with us at our Equinox bonfire, come to the Wildlands South Gate on Rte. 1 and bring a chair, an instrument, a beverage or snack, and be prepared to hike one mile in on Valley Road to the bonfire site, ice creepers or snowshoes may be needed so throw ‘em in the car, conditions permitting, we may do a woodcock walk and see some stars as well, rain date is March 21, free and open to the public, Great Pond Mountain Wildlands, south gate – Downeast Highway, Orland.
