Kezar Pond is a Hidden Gem in Fryeburg, Maine
Nestled between Mount Tom, Smarts Hill and Knights Hill is Kezar Pond in Fryeburg, Maine. Time stands still when you live at your lakefront property on this hidden gem in the Sebago Lakes Region.

At about 1,299 acres (I say “about” because the water level fluctuates with the Saco River, causing the size of the pond to vary), Kezar is the largest pond in Fryeburg.
With a maximum depth of 12 feet, this shallow pond’s weedy bottom creates an excellent habitat for warmwater fish. White perch, yellow perch and chain pickerel are the principal fisheries on Kezar Pond. Smallmouth and largemouth bass are also caught here.

The access point for car-top boats, canoes and kayaks is at Hemlock Bridge, the covered bridge on Hemlock Bridge Road. Boaters follow the old course of the Saco River for about one mile before reaching Kezar Pond.
