Feb. 14, Saturday, 10am-12pm, “Naturalist Walk at the Clark Preserve,” join Tony Liguori and Gordon Collins to explore the Eastern Trail and KLT’s Clark Preserve, the walk will focus on plants and animals in the middle of winter in a mixed conifer hardwood forest, the Clark Preserve, adjacent to the Eastern Trail, is a forested 90-acre tract that has over 2,000 feet of frontage along the Kennebunk River, free, Clark Preserve, access is from the end of Emmons Road, Kennebunk. Feb. 14, Saturday, 2:30-3:30pm, “Explore the Middle Goosefare with Saco Valley Land Trust and Saco Bay Trust,” celebrate the Great Maine Outdoor Weekend with members of Saco Valley Land Trust and Saco Bay Trails on a guided walk of the Middle Goosefare, a hidden gem of the Saco area, depending on the snow-depth, this is an easy to moderate walk suitable for school-age kids and adults, warm, waterproof footwear is recommended as no snow equipment is provided, free, Middle Goosefare Trail Network, 742 Portland Road, Saco.
