“James Montgomery Blues Band,” Jonathan’s, Ogunquit

Nov. 22, Friday, 8pm, “Imagine,” Maestro Robert Lehmann along with Joe Boucher and orchestrator Christopher Eastburn are proud to once again collaborate on a brand new orchestral pops concert for rock band and symphony orchestra. In 1969, the Beatles walked across Abbey Road and away from the studio where they created the most important body of work that any rock band has before or since. “IMAGINE – The Beatles Solo Years” brings together the solo hits of the individual Beatles as they might have sounded if they had continued together, and if their legendary producer George Martin would have crafted these songs along with them. Throughout the 1970’s and into the 1980’s, John, Paul, Goerge and Ringo each continued to write and record countless iconic songs keeping them front and ceter in the eyes and ears of the world. Rob, Chris and Joe have previously come together to present “Piano Men, The Music of Elton and Billy” and “Classic Rock”. With the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra, Robert Lehmann, conductor, see site for ticketing details, Sanford Performing Arts Center, Sanford High School, 100 Alumni Blvd, Sanford.
