Sept. 14-16, Friday-Sunday, 7am/Friday-3pm/Sunday, “11th Annual Trails End Festival,” free music will feature free live music by The Mallet Brothers Band, Rustic Overtones, Yellow Sunwreckers, Gus Lacasse, The Lost Woods, Strumdingers, Undertone and more. The Trails End Festival was founded as an outdoor recreation expo to celebrate and embrace people’s love for the outdoors. This year’s festival will continue with fan favorites such as the chili cook-off, the pie auction, hiking events, food vendors, artist’s paint out, “All Trails Lead to Katahdin Parade”, and the rubber duckie race. Crosby Community Band Camp,” the band, composed of musicians from across the nation, is proud to present this concert showcasing their talents and the music of Maine composers and arrangers. The band will be under the direction of its guest conductor, Dr. Christian Wilhelm, the conductor and music director of the Ridgewood, NJ, Concert Band. An accomplished French Horn player, he has performed with the Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops, and the Boston Ballet.
