Aug. 4, Saturday, 9am, “7 Lakes 5k Trail Run,” come support the newly merged organization of 7 Lakes Alliance (formally BRCA and the Maine Lakes Resource Center). With a fun new trail running race in the Kennebec highlands! The event will be held rain or shine at the beautiful Round Top trails system which is part of the Kennebec Highlands in Rome Maine, just outside of Belgrade Lakes and close to the Maine Lakes Resource Center. Start time will be 9 am, the course is a 5k running races on the Mountain bike trails and hiking trails of Round Top Mountain. Prizes will be given out to the fastest racers in their categories. There will be race day registration, it will be $25. Bib pick-up and day of registration will be from 7:30-8:30am. All proceeds go to the 7 Lakes Alliance and their programs.
