Oct. 12, Thursday, 4pm, “Famed Shipbuilders & Sea Captains of Bath Trolley/Cemetery Tour,” learn the fascinating history of Bath’s shipbuilding families and of the adventurous lives of some seafaring Bath families, as well. We begin at the Maine Maritime Museum and ride the trolley to one of Bath’s oldest and largest cemeteries for a guided tour with The Lady in the Red Cloak. On the way, we’ll pass many of the homes and mansions of the families we’ll hear about at Oak Grove Cemetery. As the action unfolds we learn that Sharon and Kenny met at rehab, neither is employed, and they don’t own a stick of furniture. Oct. 13, Friday, 1pm, “Mystery Author Bruce Robert Coffin,” ill read from and talk about his latest mystery and answer questions from the audience. Coffin is a former detective sergeant with more than 27 years in law enforcement. At the time of his retirement from the Portland police department, he supervised all homicide and violent crimes investigations for Maine’s largest city. He is the bestselling author of “Among the Shadows,” the debut novel in the Detective Byron Mystery Series. The second novel in this series, “Beneath the Depths,” was released in August and is available at Vose. Oct. 14, Saturday, 6pm, “Belfast Poetry Festival,” An all-arts festival in which poetry is the driving force, the event is one part variety show, one part short film festival, one part art exhibit, and one part literary showcase. All events are free and open to the public. The annual celebration features choral and instrumental music, live readings, projected artwork, multimedia presentations, and more. The lineup includes poet Cate Marvin & abstract artist Ragna Bruno, poet Sharif S. Elmusa & multimedia artist Susan Smith, poet Jacques J.
