Sept. 9, Saturday, 5pm, “Arts on the Hill: Push Farther Project,” come celebrate the end of summer with music and song by Push Farther Project, a trio of local musicians. This group of young Maine students was formed as a member’s one-song video project to complement his musical studies at Oberlin College. This past year the group has released two albums, now available on iTunes and through Spotify. They have also conducted live songwriting sessions, pioneered documentary songwriting in Barcelona, Spain, and premiered their most recent Spanish work at the Bay Chamber Concerts Screen Door Festival. In the hopes we’ll be enjoying the music outside, bring a picnic dinner, a low lawn chair or blanket, relax and enjoy this musical treat on top of Beech Hill. If inclement, we’ll move inside Beech Nut! Refreshments and reception will follow the performance.
