Feb. 3-5, Friday-Sunday, all day events, “Biddeford Winterfest 2017,” Come to Biddeford for a wonderful weekend of winter events! Enjoy free sledding in City Square, dogsledding, and beautiful ice sculptures. City Theater will host Piano Men: The Music of Elton & Billy on Friday night, comedian Juston McKinney on Saturday night. Free ice-skating at West Brook Skating Rink on Pool Road in Biddeford. Feb. 3-4, Friday-Saturday, 7:30pm, “Exchange Street,” performed by Storm Warnings Repertory Theatre, Sunrise to sunset in Portland, Maine. Like many picturesque old port towns, it grapples with very real, modern issues. EXCHANGE STREET zeroes in on one day in the lives of its residents and visitors told in a series of seven stories. For the audience, EXCHANGE STREET creates an opportunity to exchange old points of view for new and find surprises at every turn. Feb. 3, Friday, 7pm, “Piano Men: The Music of Elton and Billy,” a tribute to the amazing songs of Billy Joel and Elton John. This concert combines a four piece pop group featuring Joe Boucher on piano and vocals playing with a full symphony orchestra with arrangements by Christopher Eastburn. Feb. 4, Saturday, 7pm, “Comedian Juston McKinney,” uston grew up on the border of Maine and New Hampshire. After earning an associates degree from the very prestigious Southern Maine Community College, he was hired as a York County sheriff’s deputy patrolling the same border in which he grew up. After 7 years Juston turned in his gun and badge and left the dangerous streets of rural Maine and moved to New York City. While living in NYC he worked his way into the weekend line-up at Comic Strip Live, Stand-up New York, Dangerfield’s, Gotham, and Caroline’s on Broadway. He has had sitcom development deals with Warner Brothers, CBS Productions, IFC, Comedy Central and the New York Times called him “destined for stardom”. Juston’s TV appearances include 2 Comedy Central specials; a half-hour Comedy Central Presents and his 1-hour special Juston McKinney-A Middle-Class-Hole. He has numerous appearances on the Tonight Show both with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien.
