Dec. 30, Wednesday, 4-6pm, “Apple Pie Baking Contest,” local, amateur bakers are encouraged to bake and enter their favorite apple pie recipes in one of two categories — 17 years and younger or 18 years and older, for judging by local pie experts. Winners in each category will be awarded ribbons. Pies must be made entirely “from scratch” and a list of ingredients must be included with each pie entry.
