Steve Sessions and Carol Jones portray Senex and Domina. As their son Hero and his intended Philia are Jacob Michaud and Janelle Raven. Andrew Turner plays fellow slave and comic relief, Hysterium. Erroneous, a befuddled old man is played (with almost no acting!) by Dennis Twitchell, and super-soldier Miles Gloriosus by Jon Potter. Love, life, and death move along just the same as paint dries and the rooster crows. In Thornton Wilder’s classic American play, their town is every town, and the banalities of daily life are rarely seen as the precious, awful, and wonderful miracles of existence they truly are.
