Nov. 14-15, Saturday-Sunday, 9am/Sat, 10am-3pm/Sun, “Central Maine Dryland Challenge,” dog sled race on wheels, races will include runners racing with their dogs. Bikers and people racing scooters will compete with their canine athletes on the two mile trail. A big attraction is teams of 4 and 6 dog teams racing with a wheeled cart. Central Maine Motors has donated the purse to be divided by the classes. There will be food served by the Central Maine Ski Club during the day and there will be plenty of fun for mushers and spectators alike, free, Quarry Road Recreation Area, Quarry Rd, Waterville.
