Lake Trust programs include Courtesy Boat Inspections, Invasive Plant Surveys, the Conservation Corps, and a Working Group to improve and stabilize water quality by limiting Phosphorus enrichment of our lakes. Door prizes, daily grand door prize, demonstrations in cabbing and lapidary, mineral displays, dealers in minerals, jewelry, gems and fossils, geode slicing, and mineral mine and other games for children. Children can win a mineral starter kit and receive a free stone. Sept. 6, Sunday, 6pm, Blackwood Brothers Quartet,” formed in 1934 with brothers Roy, Doyle, James and Roy’s son, R.W. In the late 50s Roy and Doyle retired from traveling and in 1954 R. S. was killed in a tragic airplane crash.
