Mar. 5-10, Thursday-Monday, 7:30pm/Thurs., Fri., and Mon., 5pm/Sat., 2pm/Sun., “The Castle of Perseverence,” a fifteenth century morality play in which Mankind gets thrown between vice and virtue and struggles to find his way. Most popular in 15th and 16th centuries, morality plays were intended to spread Christian doctrine among lay audiences. Mar. 8, Sunday, 12:55pm, “Bolshoi Ballett Presents: Romeo and Juliet,” in Verona, the rivalry between the Capulets and the Montagues brings bloodshed to the city, when the Capulets organize a masked ball in honor of their daughter Juliet, Romeo Montague and his friend Mercutio attend incognito because of the hatred that tears the two houses apart.
