“Pumpkin Smashing,” Pumpkin Valley Farm, Dayton

Oct. 30, Thursday, 6:30pm, “Our Immigrant Ancestors,” hear Max Brandt, native of Saco and scholar who has spent years researching his immigrant ancestors who arrived in Biddeford and Saco from Ireland, tell stories of his own immigrant ancestors and to participate in a larger discussion of immigration and immigrant populations in the area. You will be encouraged to tell immigration stories from your own family history and bring pictures of your immigrant ancestors to share with others during the program, free, Deering Room, Dyer Library, 371 Main Street, Saco.
