June 28, Saturday, 6-8:30pm, “Red Sox Come to Bangor,” Former Boston Red Sox players will be returning to Bangor as the Bangor professional Firefighters Local 772 are proud to bring to the community their annual Boston Red Sox Alumni charity baseball game, in addition to the main event there will be a chance for autographs and pictures after the game. Players expected include such names as Bill “Spaceman” Lee, Sam Horn, Dennis “Oil Can” Boyd and other great Red Sox greats.
