Sept. 27, Friday, 6pm, “Comedy Night and Annual Auction,” the night will start off at 6pm with appetizers, drinks and a silent auction followed by a live auction where wonderful gift certificates to many Bangor area businesses such as Oriental Jade, Studio I Hair Salon, UMaine football, Collins Center for the Arts, The Natural Living Center, Chili’s and many more will be featured. There will also be electronics, stained glass art, folk art, blankets, jewelry, homemade pies, cupcakes, bike rentals, gift baskets, and more unique & valuable items auctioned off. The funniest lady in Maine will entertain with her one- woman, stand- up comedy show! Sept. 28, Saturday, 10am, “Paddle Scenic Phillips Lake,” enjoy a fall paddle and explore the many scenic islands of Phillips Lake, bring boat, paddle, lifejacket and a bag lunch.
