June 15, Friday, 7:30pm, “Foreigner-Juke Box Heroes Tour,” Waterfront Concerts is pleased to present FOREIGNER, WHITESNAKE and JASON BONHAM’S LED ZEPPELIN EVENING, on their “Juke Box Heroes Tour,” produced by Live Nation. June 16, Saturday, 12pm, “Best of the North Fest,” represents the coming together of three unique events: the Greater Bangor Convention and Visitors Bureau’s (CVB) Wine on the Waterfront and Tap into Summer, and the United Way of Eastern Maine’s Wingfest Maine. Combined with local music and a great kid zone, it will come together to be a family-friendly event like no other. The Best of the North festival will feature wings from about two dozen restaurants and organizations, beer from nearly 30 breweries, as well as wine and other spirits from 12 vintners. Attendees will get to vote for their favorite wings and beer of the day and the winner will receive a huge trophy, bragging rights, and a nice prize package.
