Nov. 25-26, Saturday-Sunday, 11am-8pm/Sat, 10am-3pm, “Stone Mountain Holiday Market,” a day and night event of that fair festival, and even football kind of atmosphere to “kick” off the holidays. Our halls will be decked out ll right. We will have all kinds of booths full of shopping ideas from crafts to repurposed items, to food, to Christmas themed wares…even a wine and beer tasting booth! As always the SMAC girls will be serving up lots of holiday cheer and sustenance. And don’t forget…a wine and beer tasting booth! Plus LIVE music and football!! Nov. 26, Sunday, 4pm, “Gorham Tree Lighting, Food Drive and Light Parade,” Parade Leaves at approximately 4:15 pm from 270 Main Street festivities, music and more. You are invited to stop by the Recreation Department and say hello to Santa and Mrs Claus after the tree lighting! Event is free, but registration is requested for light parade and participants are urged to bring non perishable food for Gorham Food Pantry – collection bins will be in Shaw Gym, in the Recreation Department. Tree Lighting activities begin at 4:00pm in Robie Park: Horse drawn carriage rides, hot cocoa, music and more. Santa arrives approximately 5:00pm via the Ladder truck and will meet with boys and girls in the Recreation Department after the tree is lit until approx 6:30pm, Robie Park, Ball Park Road, Gorham.
