July 13-16 and 19, Thursday-Sunday and Wednesday, 8pm/Thurs, Fri, and Wed, 2:30pm/Thurs, Wed and Sun, 3pm/Sat, 8:30pm/Sat, “Bullets Over Broadway,” The 1920s come roaring to life with showgirls, gangsters and more in this musical adaptation of Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath’s madcap film Bullets Over Broadway. Hailed by Time Magazine as “Musical Theatre Gold!,” Bullets Over Broadway is the hilarious musical comedy about the making of a Broadway show, filled with tap dancing gangsters, saucy showgirls, big laughs and colorful characters including an aging diva, a savant hit-man and Sally Struthers as the dog-toting Eden Brent. A young playwright who is in desperate need of financial backing for his next show accepts an offer he can’t refuse from a mobster looking to please his ditzy, talentless girlfriend. July 14, Friday, 7pm, “Blueberries, Broadway and Brian,” written and performed by Brian P. Allen associated with Good Theater. A one-man show about Allen’s unique and wacky family and his love of theater while being part of a blueberry dynasty. He has a sharp observation of life and people and sees humor in almost everything. July 14-15, Friday-Saturday, 8pm, “Linda Eder in Concert,” Linda Eder‘s diverse repertoire spans Broadway, Standards, Pop, Country, and Jazz. She made her Broadway debut in the musical Jekyll & Hyde, originating the role of Lucy, for which she was nominated for the Drama Desk Award. Eder has performed in concert halls across the country including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Musical Hall. Well-known Sally Mummey will return as Mary Todd Lincoln in her later years as “Wife and Widow”.
