Jan. 12, Thursday, 7pm, “Audio Body,” an electronic journey into an unknown realm of seriously spectacular entertainment. This thrilling show mixes circus arts, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, LED light shows, and live, upbeat music. Jan. 14, Saturday, 1pm and 4pm, “Maine State Ballet presents Tap, Tap, Jazz,” This popular annual show, chock full of Broadway-style song and dance numbers, is guaranteed to delight the entire family and help shake off those winter blues! Maine State Ballet, based in Falmouth, Maine, is one of New England’s leading performing arts institutions and twice named Maine’s Best Dance Group by Downeast Magazine. Its two components are the School for the Performing Arts, offering instruction in ballet, tap, jazz and other dance styles to more than 500 children and adults; and the Maine State Ballet Company, comprised of more than 25 professional dancers. Jan. 14, Saturday, 4:30pm, “Full Moon Snowshoe,” a full moon winter walk on Randall Orchard – the farm we helped protect as farmland forever. We will meet at the farm at sunset and head out to explore the 500-acres of conserved orchard and forest while watching the full moon rise. After an hour guided walk, led by Master Naturalist Jeanne Christie and Board Member Mike Parker, we will end with hot cider from apples grown and pressed onsite at the orchard.
