Sept. 22, Thursday, 8pm, “The Stone Mounatain Twilight Music Hour,” hosted by owner and singer songwriter Carol Noonan, the Stone Mountain Twilight Hour is a night to showcase some new talent, and/or some old that you should know about but don’t, the idea is for you to take risk and come see a new act without the burden of a ticket price, it’s a great way to try out Stone Mountain for the first time, the music is always good, the evening is also graced by the Stone Mountain House Band who will chip in their brand of old and new standards, and ya never know else who might sit in, free event, Stone Mountain Arts Center, 695 Dug Way Rd., Brownfield. Sept. 23-25, Friday-Sunday, 7:30pm/Fri. and Sat, 2pm/Sunday, “Clue, the Musical,” The internationally popular game is now a fun-filled musical which brings the world’s best-known suspects to life! Parker Brothers’ board game comes alive on stage and invites the audience to solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon – there are 216 possible solutions! Comical antics, witty lyrics, and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room. Sept. 23, Friday, 8pm, “Faculty Concert Series: Robert Lehmann, violin and Anastasia Antonacos, piano,” Mozart’s world darkened considerably after his mother’s unexpected death. The Sonata in E minor, K. 304, his only work for violin and piano in a minor key, pervades this charming work with a melancholy yet tender mood. Ravel’s sonata draws inspiration from American jazz and blues idioms that were taking Europe by storm. Sept. 24, Saturday, 7am -1:30pm, “The Amazing Chase,” is the first event of its kind in Maine, teams compete in a technology-based adventure race involving a series of challenging team building activities, this adventure involves SMART technology, strategy, finding landmarks, solving clues, trivia, performing tasks, completing physical challenges, and taking photos/videos around the Sebago Lakes Region of Maine, the video, photo, and audio clues are delivered to the teams via Apple iPads, some players will have Go-Pro cameras and drones will captures footage of others from the air for a birds-eye view of the fun, the entire event will be produced into a feature video for all teams to enjoy, you do NOT need to be an athlete to play, goal is to earn the most points AND return to the finish line before your competition, cost to participate is $395 per team of 4 Must be 21 years old, Wyndham Microtel Inn & Suites, 965 Roosevelt Trail, Windham. Sept. 24, Saturday, 9:30am, “Northwoods Law Fish and Wildlife Day,” Meet some of the Maine Game Wardens of the popular Animal Planet TV show ‘NorthWoods Law’. Several of this season’s wardens, some with their canines, will be on hand to sign autographs and have their photos taken with their fans.
