April 7, Thursday, 7-9pm, “Maine Short Film Festival,” celebrates Maine and its people with films on Maine rivers, farms, social justice, and original screenplays in all genres: documentary, fiction, experimental, comedy and horror. This play offers insight about the plight of women in Iran and portrays their struggle against religious and cultural tyranny while countering stereotypes about Muslim women.
