Feb. 12, Friday, 6pm, “Old-Time Country Family Dance,” celebration of Groundhogs Day and More Light, Presidents and Valentine’s Day!! Feb. 12, Friday, 7pm, “Best Beloved: A 19th-Century Romance,” interactive readers’ theater, as part of the month-long celebration of Brunswick’s Longfellow Days, this Readers’ Theater focuses on the courtship and marriage of Longfellow and his wife, Fanny. Feb. 12, Friday, 7:30pm, “Pat Colwell & The Soul Sensations Motown Valentine,” the celebrated Maine-based R&B ensemble shifts into a romantic gear for Valentine’s Day, drawing on classics performed by Sam and Dave, the Supremes, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye, the Temptations, Otis Redding, The Jackson Five, and others. Feb. 13, Saturday, 11am, “Frost Fest,” An old fashioned ice skating party with music from Ray J’z Muzik will kick it off at 11am. Other activities include a snow sculpture competition and miniature golf in a course made of SNOW! To rent a putter and a ball is $5, under 5 years old FREE. All the fun will wrap up at 3pm when the snow sculptures will be judged and the winner awarded their prize!
