Oct. 2-5, Thursday-Sunday, 7am/gates open, 9am/buildings open, “Fryeburg Fair,” this fair has been going strong since 1851, one of the largest gatherings of livestock in New England there are an estimated 3,000 animals on the fairgrounds, an incredible array of food, entertainment, and rides, “Pay one Price, ” ($20), for all mechanical rides on Thursday and Sunday from 2pm-9pm, $10/includes night shows, free/under 12, Fryeburg Fair Grounds, 1154 Main Street, Fryeburg. Oct. 2 – 8, Thursday – Wednesday, 9am. – 6pm, “Ricker Hill Orchards, Corn Maze and More!” take advantage of the corn maze, hay maze, full bakery and farm market store, you can also pick your own pumpkins and apples and take a self-guided tour through the cranberry bog, some activities have varying costs or prices, Ricker Hill Farm, 295 Buckfield Road, Turner.
