This three day event on Belfast’s waterfront starts Friday August 15 with a Launch Party at Marshall Wharf with some of Maine’s best bands. Saturday is highlighted by the National Boatbuilding Challenge. Teams build a boat in four hours, then launch it, and row it to be sure it floats. Enter and join the fun. The Last Ferryman is comprised of stories, drawn from recent oral histories as part of OHA’s educational program, from before, during, and after the construction of the bridge.
