Jan. 2-Jan. 8, Thursday-Wednesday, 8am-7pm, “Michael Vickery’s Progressions in Time and Space,” art show featuring 3-D printed media, open to public Monday-Friday, free, University of New England Campus Center, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford.  FMI:  207-284-6394, www.une.edu.
Jan. 4, Saturday, 9am-1pm, “Winter Famers’ Market,” stop by and support your local farmers, food producers, artists and artisans. Pick up your usual market foods: fresh veggies, Maine maple syrup, breads, baked goods, jams, granola, fresh eggs and locally raised pork, beef, goat and lamb. Jan. 5, Sunday, 3pm, Winter Film Festival, “Museum Hours,” a mesmerizing tale of two strangers and their chance meeting at Vienna’s grand Kunsthistorisches Art Museum. Jan. 5. Sunday,12pm, “Movie:  ‘Emanuel,'” the film is a Christmas musical based on the folk blues of America, composed by Dorothy Davidson Hausske, the First Congregational Church first performed the musical in December of 1976, free and open to the public, Congregational Church, 23 Pepperell Road, Kittery Point.  FMI:  207-439-0605, www.firstcongregationalchurch.org.
