My husband and I had a similar situation. We fell in love with a log home and settled on a price. Five days before the closing, further negotiations fell through and I followed my husband’s decision to no go through with the deal. I was devastated but had promised God that I would go along with my husband’s decision. I knew God had a plan for our dream so I kept praying. I was shocked when a few months later, the deal for the house came back to us and we knew it was God’s grace. We’ve owned the house for almost two years now and have been blessed to share it with our family and friends. God’s timing is perfect.

I wasn’t looking for a divine message when I read this article. But I think God knew I needed it. Thank you for the inspiration and the reminder. I too am hoping to find solace in my Maine home one day.

I loved this article. Thank you this witness. Yes, if we just wait on the Lord, He is always good at blessing us more than we expected. May God bless you too! Someday, I hope to live in my husbands home state of Maine. At the present I just dream and wait on God’s timing. Isn’t that the best we can do…the smartest thing to do. He knows what we need and what our desires are…after all he put them there.
